چکیده

A study was conducted to evaluate the genetic variation in bitter ground using SNP (single-nucleotide polymorphism) markers. Thirty -five primers showing reliable polymorphism were used .This paper mainly applies molecular directive from self-absorbed population of F6 Cho Moi/Ben Tre. The Polymorphism on two directives, TP1386 and TP 1877 with Bitter gourd LG1. wide observed for morphological traits like number days first male flower anthesis (29.33–33.67), female (30.5–38.6), fruit length (19.00–22.80 cm), diameter (12.20–19.60 yield per plant (933.8–1147.9 g).According GGT map, it is easier determine pattern hybrids compared genome parents generation Tre . With 34 SNPs molecules directives LG1, distance 0-112. cM. selected lines carried a superior homogeneity parent result 7 F7 100% genes hight same father variety ( Ben ), carrying yield. seven are: 1(F2-2-1-7-1); 2(F2-8-17-2-2); 5(F2 -5-3-1-5); 7(F2-25-15-8-7); 10(F2-54-4-1-10; 35(F2-10-6-5-35); 36(F2-5-2-7-36). However, after evaluating comparing phenotypes genotypes, there only lines: 7(F2-25-15-8-7)good appty breeding Named line 7(F2-25-15-8-7) designated HATRI 07KQ DNA Sequence submitted GenBank

Inheritance of gynoecism in bitter gourd (Momordica charantia L.).

The inheritance of sex expression in cucumber (Cucumis sativus) and other cucurbits is well documented; however, the genetics of female sex (gynoecism) expression in bitter gourd (Momordica charantia) has not been described. Inheritance of gynoecism in bitter gourd was studied in a 100% gynoecious line (Gy263B). The F(2) and testcross segregation data revealed that gynoecism in Gy263B is under ...

Genetic Divergence Studies in Bitter Gourd (Momordica charantia L.)

A study was conducted during Zaid 2005, in Uttar Pradesh, India, to evaluate the nature and magnitude of genetic divergence in 30 bitter gourd genotypes. Results revealed the presence of wide genetic diversity. The genotypes were grouped into 6 clusters based on Mahalanobis D statistics using Tocher's 2 method. The clustering pattern of genotypes revealed that the genetic diversity was independ...
